02 Where can I find Basil Bangs product in my city/country?

03 I can’t seem to find a product on the online store. Where can I find it?
If you can’t find a product on the Basil Bangs website, it is most likely out of stock. However, it may still be available at your local Basil Bangs stockist. Please contact our lovely customer service people here, and someone will respond to you shortly.
04 How do I care and clean my Basil Bangs product?
We recommend spot cleaning the product with warm water and mild soap and hanging to air dry.
While our products are designed for outdoor use, we recommend that they are stored, dry and safely when not in use to minimise wear and tear and extend their life. Store your beach umbrella in its individual carry bag and your Go-Large umbrella in a protective cover.

05 How colourfast is your fabric?
The Premium Pattern range of printed fabrics has a colour fastness rating of 3-4, or approximately 1-year/300 hours of normal exposure. The Luxury Stripe range of woven acrylic fabrics have a colour fastness rating of 7-8, or approximately 5 years.
Our beach umbrellas are designed for less intense ‘weekend’ use at the beach, however if you will be using your umbrella more regularly we would recommend taking a look at the Luxury Stripe range or our commercial Go Large range. Otherwise, we suggest packing your umbrella away when not in use to minimise wear and tear, and fade. Cushions should be stored when not in use.
The Go Large Premium Pattern range of fabrics utilises a new printing process that achieves a colour fastness rating of 6-7, on par with many woven acrylic style of fabric.

06 Does Basil Bangs price match?
Basil Bangs does not price adjust to match other retailer’s pricing. All sale items are final sale and are not eligible for a price adjustment, return, credit or exchange.
07 Can I design my own umbrella?
Basil Bangs can produce custom design umbrellas for commercial customers. In fact, we love working with designers on special projects. Minimum quantities and other conditions apply. Contact us if you would like more information on trade projects.
08 What do I do if I have a problem with my Basil Bangs product?
If you experience any difficulties with any product please email us outlining the specific problem. We will reply as soon as possible with advice and work out the best course of action. For any warranty claims, please read the warranty information carefully here.
09 How do the various umbrellas differ?
The umbrellas vary in size and shape, materials and finishes. We recommend looking at our Basil Bangs product specifications before making a purchase to ensure you’re buying the right size umbrella for your use. Product specifications can be found here.
10 Do you have gift vouchers?
Yes, vouchers are available in any amount and are only redeemable directly through our website. Vouchers are non transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Vouchers are valid for twelve months from purchase date. Please contact us here to organise a Basil Bangs gift voucher.
11 What is the sun protection rating of your umbrellas
All of our beach umbrellas have a UPF50+ rating, one of the highest available, making them ideal for ‘Seeking Shade’, one of the five sun protection strategies recommended by the Cancer Council and Melanoma Institute. The other four, and equally important sun protection strategies, are: Slip, Slop, Slap, and Wrap. 11 Where are your products made?
We strive to work with the best people from around the world who can provide the quality craftsmanship and engineering we require for our products, balanced of course with the value we can provide our customers. Our products are designed by us, Krista and Mike, in Australia and we work with suppliers both locally and abroad to bring it all together. We ensure our suppliers meet environmental standards and treat their staff well. We are proud to work with a team who makes our products with intent and care, for you to enjoy!
01 Where in the world does Basil Bangs ship to?
Basil Bangs delivers worldwide using TNT, offering a fast and efficient service to your door. TNT requires a signature for delivery and can’t deliver to a PO Box. You can read more in our shipping and delivery policy here.
02 How much does shipping cost?
Shippings costs are calculated at check out and are dependent on the total weight and volume of the order.
03 Can I add/remove/change items in an existing order?
No, once an order has been placed we are unable to add/remove/change items in an existing order. If you have any concerns about an existing order, please contact us here and provide your order number for reference.
04 When will my order ship?
Once orders are finalised, and product is in stock your order will be dispatched from our warehouse the following 1-2 business days.
05 How can I track my order?
You can track your order by clicking the link found in the shipping confirmation email. Please allow 2 business days to receive your shipment notification email after placing your order.
06 Does the Basil Bangs online store ship to PO boxes or military addresses?
At this time, we are unable to ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
07 Do I need to sign for my order?
All orders placed through the Basil Bangs online store require a direct signature upon delivery, unless an Authority to Leave has been specified in the ‘special notes’ section of your order.
01 What is your warranty?
Basil Bangs warrants its products for 12months against defects in materials and workmanship. We can’t warranty based on damage caused by misuse, inappropriate use or normal wear and tear. That said, we’re happy to provide replacement parts and servicing to ensure your Basil is still looking Bangin’.
Faulty product validated under a warranty claim will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Basil Bangs. Please view the full Basil Bangs warranty here.
02 How do I file a warranty claim?
All warranty claims must be made at the place of purchase, or if purchased through basilbangs.com by sending an email to customer service. Proof of purchase (receipt with date of transaction) is essential for all warranty claims.
03 Can my product be repaired?
Please email our customer service team here to assess the possibility of a repair. They will require photographs and information regarding the problem.
