Basil Projects | Bopp and Tone
Featuring heavy marbles, classic tiles, rich textures and moody timber, along with an alfresco dining terrace, Bopp and Tone is one of our favourite inner city spots...
Bopp & Tone might be set amongst the thick of the Sydney CBD and next to a busy bus interchange, but enter through its weighty front doors and you are transported into the peaceful and opulent dining rooms beyond...and immediately exhale. Designed by Luchetti Krelle, the restaurant is nostalgic, relaxed and welcoming, embodying the lived-in luxury of the co-founders Grandfather’s, and venue namesakes - Keith ‘Bopp’ Evans and Anthony ‘Tone’ Adams.
Opened by Applejack Hospitality in 2018, the restaurant is as lovely as ever. Timeless interior finishes include heavy marbles, classic tiles, rich textures and moody timber furniture, along with an alfresco dining terrace, private dining room and Applejack’s signature love of greenery.
Ideal for a lively lunch by the big windows or slower moodier dinner, it welcomes large groups and small tables alike. We love a classic cocktail among the plants on the terrace, under an umbrella of course!
