Basil Projects | Imperial Hotel Erskineville

 

Our favourite rainbow venue, the iconic Imperial Hotel in Erskineville has recently gone through a massive transformation. Now owned by the Universal Hotel Group, the Imperial has really taken the lead from its queer community, offering up a "fabulous mix of entertainment, reimagined main bar, vibrant new dishes on the menu, and fabulous new entertainment", according to Alannah Le Cross at Timeout.

We adore the custom printed, commercial beach umbrellas we did for the rooftop a few years ago. Still going strong, they offer a bold decor statement and perfectly compliment the art deco inspired furnishings.

Our favourite part of the rooftop? The  big, gold mosaic pizza oven, expertly helmed by the team at Pizza Bros. 

We can't wait to visit again!
