1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime

This confronting statistic is the reason that together with our mates Jenna and Arron, Mike and I founded SurFebruary, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of Australian’s diagnosed with cancer by funding inspiring and innovative research.

SurFebruary is a fun, annual event in February, where participants raise money for cancer research and treatment by catching a wave every day – rain, hail or shine.

This philanthropic, grassroots event is now in its fifth year and is building serious momentum, more than doubling in size and donations year-on-year.

It is all about good vibes: doing good, feeling good and just getting in the water, catching a wave however you choose - surfing, swimming, boogie, SUP.

You don't need to be a great surfer already to take part, SurFebruary is for everyone: surfing mums, little frothers, weekend warriors, shredders and sliders. ...anyone who wants to get in the water every day and do some good!

Does that sound like you? Learn more and sign up on the SurFebruary website.
