Some of the best things in design are hidden. The tailored lining of a jacket, the underside of a leaf, or the view looking out from within. Inspired by this idea of 'the reveal', Verso is a new outdoor collection created in collaboration with Sydney interior design studio Tom Mark Henry.

Taking cues from menswear tailoring, this collection was made for spaces that matter - the terrace you linger a little bit longer, the nook you escape to with a good book, or a cozy corner in your kitchen.

We invite you to stop, stay a while and look a little bit closer.

A creative exploration

Basil Bangs x Tom Mark Henry

Relaxed Outdoor Living

At the heart of the collection is our patio umbrellas. Inspired by the lining of a fine jacket, our new double layer patio umbrella shows its personality on the underside, a quiet detail made for those sitting beneath it.

Sitting alongside is our smaller - but no less bold - Luxury Parasol, and a complete suite of outdoor loungers, dining chairs, and cushions designed to bring the ease of indoor living outside. Every piece pairs clean lines with soft, tactile details, creating a welcoming backdrop for the spaces where we gather.

THE CLOTH

Crafted in Italy

The Verso collection is anchored by a custom fabric, woven exclusively alongside our heritage Italian milling partner. Available in three easy colour ways, this signature material has a rich, tactile feel while standing up to the elements and is designed to pair back naturally with our broader range.

Stripes, solids and textured weaves work together in a tonal, harmonious palette, each colour way considered as a complete scheme. The construction throughout references the language of fine tailoring: visible stitching, seam details and the precision of a double layer that behaves as one.

Verso started with a simple idea: that the most interesting things in design are often the ones just out of view. The bolder layer, the hidden detail, the lining of a beautiful jacket. Together, we built an entire collection around this notion of 'The Reveal'.
