We are proud to introduce our first Design Collection with Sydney based interior architect and designer, Lucy Montgomery.
Drawing inspiration from timber yacht upholstery and tailored fashion (think Ralph Lauren circa 1990’s), the Regatta Collection offers a contemporary take to a classic look that will elevate any outdoor setting, while also providing some serious (and seriously chic) shade.
My collection for Basil Bangs reflects my design ethos; invest in beautiful pieces that boast quality and timelessness - something you will love forever. I have translated my appreciation for 'relaxed elegance' into a range of umbrellas with bold, striking borders that define the piece in any setting, and pair back with my curated range of outdoor cushions.

Mealtimes are a ritual in my family and signify a time for my parents, siblings and our children to come together. In summer, we all go to my family’s beach house and on arrival our (now vintage) striped Basil Bangs umbrella goes up on the deck. It’s a nostalgic piece that has shaded many alfresco moments and key family celebrations, including happy hours, seafood feasts, and milestone birthdays. It’s testament to the brand's quality and timelessness - it’s certainly standing the test of time!

Engineer certified and wind tested to withstand 'Gale Force' conditions, our umbrellas are built for everyday use outdoors. And with removable canopies for easy cleaning and repairs, all our patio umbrellas feature replaceable parts for easy on-going maintenance.
