In a delightful celebration of Australian summer traditions, Pure Pops unveils three new flavors that transport us back to the carefree days of childhood, styled with Basil Bangs' iconic Ombre Forest Jardin Umbrella and deck chairs from our Italian Collection.
There's something undeniably magical about the combination of summer heat and the sweet relief of an ice block. For many Aussies, these fleeting moments form the foundation of our most cherished childhood memories - racing against the sun to finish a dripping ice cream, or the satisfying crack of a chocolate shell giving way to the creamy vanilla beneath.
It's these nostalgic experiences that Alice and Georgi, the founders of Pure Pops, have masterfully reimagined in their latest collection. Launched at iconic Shelly Beach (and our local), the scene was set with Basil Bangs' Ombre Forest Umbrella and matching deck chairs from The Italian Collection, creating a beautiful nostalgic look to complement the retro-inspired treats.
"We wanted to create something that speaks to the Australian summer experience," explains Pure Pops founder, Georgi Larby. "These are flavors that resonate with collective memory, but elevated through technique and exceptional ingredients."
The star of the new collection is the Raspberry Split, a sophisticated take on the classic fruit and cream combination that defined many Australian childhoods. "This one's for us," Alice and Georgi shared during the launch. "It's inspired by our favourite childhood memory; ice creams that were simple, fresh, and unforgettable."
"We squeeze fruit, not farmers," is their motto, and their comittment to quality shows in every bite. Raspberry Split balances tangy raspberries with velvety vanilla bean ice cream, the perfect balance of tart, sweet, creamy and cold.
We were thrilled our green ombre umbrellas provided a striking, nostalgia infused backdrop for these new summer treats. Seamlessly blending past and present, tradition and innovation.
Our advice? Get them before they melt - both literally and figuratively! These limited-edition flavors won't be around forever, much like the fleeting summer days they celebrate.
